Dermal Fillers are one of the most common non surgical cosmetic treatments in North America. We know that as we age we experience volume, fat, muscle tissue and even bone loss in the face. Dermal fillers can be used to temporarily plump tissue, restore lost volume and create a natural "lift". Using dermal fillers to aesthetically enhance the lips, cheeks, temples & chin can help restore a younger, more youthful appearance.
At our clinic we only use premium Health Canada approved brands of Hyaluronic Acid filler, HA is a naturally occurring substance already found in the body that helps keep skin plump and hydrated, it can hold up to 1000 times it weight in water. The results from these brands last 12 - 18 months before the particles are absorbed gradually and naturally back into the body. The HA is injected in a gel consistency into areas of the face that have lost volume to help lift sagging tissues which helps enhance facial angles and soften lines / wrinkles.
* All appointments start with a complimentary consultation with our experienced Nurse Injector Marie Nieminen R.N to assess areas of concern, determine which filler is needed (each filler contains a different size molecule designed for different areas of the face) and develop a treatment plan (based on individual features that determine your optimal fill).
* Full results take 2-3 weeks after initial appointment to present. Coming in for a follow up is recommended at that time.
* Expect redness, swelling and possible bruising for 2-3 days after treatment.
* Do not apply heavy pressure to the treated area for 1-2 weeks after treatment.
The dermal fillers we use are Restylane, Beletero and Juvederm
